~ Wall-E introducing himself to EVE. |
Waste Allocation Load Lifter - Earth Class, designated as N. 62675 and better known as WALL•E or stylized as WALL-E, is the titular main protagonist of Pixar's 9th full-length animated feature film of the same name.
He is the last descendant of the Waste Allocation Load Lifters: Earth Class, and later travels to space with EVE.
He was voiced by Ben Burtt.
What Makes Him Love Exalted?[]
- Through several centuries, despite cleaning efforts from other robots failing to restore Earth to a habitable environment, WALL-E continues to do his best to do so, and is the only one still functionally operational.
- Befriends a cockroach and names it Hal; the two are shown to get along very nicely.
- Manages to find a living seedling amongst the mostly barren Earth, showing there is still hope and life on the planet.
- Befriends EVE, and even when she is in standby mode, WALL-E takes care and protects her from a sandstorm, while also showing the seedling and various other objects.
- When EVE is being taken away, he rushes to try and save her. When Hal wants to accompany him, WALL-E tells him to stay, not willing to endanger more lives.
- Even when witnessing how obese humans have become, he nevertheless helps John up his chair and breaks Mary's computer screen, allowing them to genuinely reconnect with each other.
- When meeting with Captain McCrea, Wall-E shakes his hand.
- Frees all the defective robots who are imprisoned.
- Continues to show his care for EVE. When he believes she is getting tortured, he tries rushing to her aid, and refuses to leave the AXIOM without her.
- Sacrifices himself to protect the plant from getting destroyed by the garbage chute, showing how selfless he is.
- He teaches the humans to become more active and appreciate the world and each other instead of sitting all day and submitting to consumerism.
Trivia[]
- Outside of Disney, WALL-E makes five guest appearances in The Simpsons and an appearance in Postman Pat: The Movie; however, none of these versions count due to him not showing the same beloved qualities in them compared to the original.
