Tulip Olsen is a major protagonist of the Cartoon Network series Infinity Train. She serves as the main protagonist of Book One - The Perennial Child and the unseen overarching protagonist of Book Two - Cracked Reflection.
She was voiced by Ashley Johnson.
What Makes Her Love Exalted?[]
- In general, she is portrayed as a relatable, complex character with a strong sense of determination and logic which makes her journey aboard the Infinity Train in Book 1 both interesting and engaging.
- She was the first to notice One-One and provide him with companionship.
- When One-One was being troublesome and she sold him to The Cat, she felt remorse for this decision and chased after her to retrieve it.
- She saved Corginia from the Stewardness.
- She was able to prevent One-One from harming the Unfinished Car and precipitate good foreign relations between the Corgis and Turtles.
- Despite Lake attempting to trap her in the Mirror World, she still helps her escape being killed by the Flecs, which in turn would lead to Lake's broader arc of developing her personal identity in Book 2.
- After Atticus was Ghomified, she trapped him in order to avoid killing him and was determined to change him back to normal using the rematerializing gun that she stole from Amelia.
- Upon learning about Amelia's tragic backstory of losing her husband Alrick, she showed sympathy for her and convinced her to address her emotional issues and work to redeem herself.
- Her influence caused One-One to be less brutal towards the train's passengers, and also put an end to Amelia's mass disruption.
- Overall, while she started out as having several corrupting qualities including her selfishness, short temper and tendency to lash out at her parents following their divorce, she develops and grows as Book 1 progresses, learning to rely on others while still maintaining her core personality and shedding these corrupting traits by the end.
