When I think of a goal, or a task... I can see the path to complete it.
~ Tari

Tari is the main protagonist of sci-fi web series Meta Runner, based on the SMG4 character of the same name. She is a cyborg girl who is insecure and also really nice. She is someone who doesn't really know who she is and that they have tested on her, so now she can buckle into video games.

She was voiced by Celeste Notley-Smith, who also voiced her original counterpart.

What Makes Her Love Exalted?[]

  • She is just as nice as her SMG4 counterpart, despite the environment she was in.
  • She cares about her virtual friend Theo, guiding him through unpredictable challenges in Ultra Jump Mania and assisting him with performing glitch techniques.
  • Although she was sarcastic and snarky during season 2, it was only towards Evelyn, otherwise she wasn't mean to others.
  • Despite Belle constantly attacked her when she accuses her responsible for Lucinia's death, Tari doesn't hold a grudge against her, only saying she really doesn't know it. They became friends during season 2, after Belle discovered Lucks had covered up Lucinia's death.
  • She surrendered herself to Lucks by joining TAS Corp in order to save her friends.
  • She is smart enough to think of a plan to beat Evelyn in the glitched cartridge, and succeeds in breaking free Theo.
  • Convinced Masa not to shoot Lucks in spite of his crimes, although this fails because Sheridan hacked his Meta Runner arm and killed Lucks regardless.
  • She ultimately decides to break apart her own data to revive Lucinia, killing herself in the process. Although she and Theo end up as spirits in what remains of Sheridan's server, she had no idea this would happen, meaning that she was completely fine with sacrificing her own life so Lucinia could live.
