Tanjiro Kamado is the main protagonist of the anime/manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

In the Japanese version, he was voiced by Satomi Sato as a child and Natsuki Hanae as an adult, who also voiced Falco Grice in Attack on Titan. In the English version, he was voiced by Allegra Clark as a child and Zach Aguilar as an adult, who also voiced Koichi Hirose in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. In the Spanish Latin version, he was voiced by Iván Bastidas as an adult and Rosalinda Márquez as a child. In the Korean version, he was voiced by Lee Kyeong-tae. In Live Action, he was portrayed by Ryota Kobayashi.

What Makes Him Love Exalted?

• Despite want to avenge those he cared for, he later subverted his vengeful tendencies.
• When his sister was turned into a demon, he helped he retain her humanity instead of abandoning her out of fear.
• He took pity on Kazumi after he lost his fiancé.
• He took pity on Susamaru after hearing her last words.
• He reprimanded Zenitsu for acting inappropriately towards a younger girl.
• In Kyogai’s final moments, he wished him peace before he died.
• He tried to talk Inosuke down instead of killing him.
• He gave proper burials to the deceased inside Kyogai's mansion.
• He took pity on Rui despite his murders.
• He tried to defend his sister for being a demon when he was put on trial.
• He took Rengoku’s final words to hard and became more determined to defeat Muzan.
• He was extremely disgusted when Muzan trampled the corpses the killed Demon Slayers, not wanting their sacrifice to go in vain.
• When he was turned into a demon by Muzan, he retained his humanity and did not become evil like Muzan.
