Sting Eucliffe is a supporting protagonist in the anime/manga series Fairy Tail. He was a big fan of Natsu and always wanted to beat him someday. He is master of former strongest guild Sabertooth after defeating Jiemma. He is a Dragon Slayer who was born 400 years ago and was raised by Weisslogia. Like the rest of the Dragon Slayer children, he got sent 400 years into the future in July 7th, X777 to defeat Acnologia.
What Makes Him Love Exalted?[]
- However, Sting started off with more corrupting factors, such as arrogance and jerkish attitude. This later changes after losing Lector and listening to Natsu's words, being very loyal and protective towards his comrades.
- He is a great master of Sabertooth who values its members and treats them like family.
- Even before he subverts his corrupting factors, he still was very loyal to Lector by not willing to break the promise he made to him years ago.
- He was even willing to use his Dragon Force to win for the sake of Lector. However, when he later got defeated by Natsu, he apologizes to Lector, saying that he's too strong.
- He tried to help take down one of the Dragons that got released through the Eclipse Gate. These Dragons were about to destroy the town.
- In Tartaros, and after getting the letter about Minerva's actions from Erza, he and Rogue recuse Minerva from Mard Geers attack. He later invites her back to Sabertooth for the better despite of all of her villainous deeds she has done.
- He and Rogue defeat Jiemma and helps Natsu fight Mard Geer.
- After hearing that Fairy Tail is in trouble with the battle against the Alvarez Empire, he and the rest of Sabertooth decide to help with their battle.
- His reasonings of joining the battle is because Fairy Tail needs help and that they are allies, saying that's what allies are supposed to do for each other.
- He also owes it to Natsu, being thankful that he helped Sabertooth change for the better.
- After feeling insecure of getting severely injured by the Bloodman and Yukino slapping the sense into him to keep fighting despite having times like this, he re-enters the battle and tells his guildmates to fight back.
- As Yukino was about to die by Larcade and Lector crying for Sting's help, he saves Yukino's life by stopping Larcade.
- He saves Lector, Yukino, Kagura, and Frosch from Larcade's deadly spell which caused them to starve, even making Yukino and Kagura try to eat each other. He saved them by knocking them out.
- Being sent in the Time Rift, he and the rest of the Dragon Slayers try to fight Acnologia. In the battle, he and the other 5 Dragon Slayers give Natsu their powers to defeat Acnologia and save the world.
