Shrek is the titular main protagonist of the franchise of the same name.
He is voiced by Mike Myers.
What Makes Him Love Exalted?[]
- While he did go the quest to rescue Fiona only to get his swamp back, he realized that he loved Fiona and started to care for her well-being.
- When Donkey explains that Fiona wasn’t talking about him when she says “hideous creature”, he goes out of his way to stop the wedding and reconcile with Fiona.
- He spared and befriended Puss in Boots after he tried to kill him.
- He reconciled with King Harold and forgave him for mistreating him.
- When Donkey reverted from a stallion to his Donkey form, Shrek addressed him as a noble steed, showing he truly cares about Donkey.
- While he initially intended to seek out Arthur just to replace him as King of Far Far Away, he connected with Arthur and starts to care for him.
- When Arthur’s life was threatened by Charming, he claims he only brought Artie all this way to replace him. While this was initially true, he only said this to save Artie from being killed by Charming.
- Once he regains his life, he swears to appreciate all the people in his life to the best of his ability.
