Rubeus Hagrid also known simply as Hagrid is a major character in the Harry Potter franchise, serving as the false main antagonist of the second installment Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
He was portrayed by the late Robbie Coltrane.
What Makes Him Love Exalted?[]
- He tried to protect Aragog, who was wrongfully accused of killed Moaning Myrtle, at the cost of being expelled at Hogwarts.
- When Albus Dumbledore (who was the Transfiguration Teacher at the time) convinced the then headmaster Armando Dippet to train Hagrid for the job of Gamekeeper and allow him to remain at the school, Hagrid would return this with fierce loyalty to Dumbledore.
- He joined the First Wizarding War to fight against the Death Eaters and Voldemort.
- He comforted Sirius Black when he found him on the scene of James and Lily's murder.
- He found Harry with his muggle relatives and introduced him to the Wizarding World after the Dursleys tried to stop all the mail.
- He tried to convince the Golden Trio not seek the Stone for their safety and the safety of the stone.
- When Harry got lost in Knockturn Alley, he helped him get out and escorted him to Diagon Alley.
- He broke up a fight between Lucius Malfoy and Arthur Weasley during a fight.
- He did not believe Harry was Slytherin’s heir when he was accused of it.
- Before being taken to Azkaban on suspicion of opening the Chamber of Secrets, he hinted ‘follow the spiders’ which allowed Ron and Harry find Aragon. This allowed the two to solve the mystery of the Chamber of Secrets, find the real culprit, and end the attacks.
- After Draco was injured by Buckbeak, he stopped the hippogriff from attacking him any further, despite Draco’s jerking nature.
- When McGonagall was attacked by a team of aurors who were trying to unlawfully arrest Hagrid on Umbridge’s orders, he attacked 3 of them in defense of his colleague.
- He helped in the Battle of Hogwarts.
