Rogue Cheney is one of the supporting protagonist in the anime/manga Fairy Tail. He is a Dragon Slayer who is partners with Sting Eucliffe, who is another Dragon Slayer, having the nickname The Twin Dragons of Sabertooth. He was an orphan born 400 years ago and was raised by Skidrum. In order to defeat Acnologia, he and the other Dragon Slayers got sent into the future, on July 7th X777.

What Makes Him Love Exalted?

• While Rogue still was very arrogant when he was first introduced, he ends up subverting that trait.
• He was one of the kinder members of Sabertooth when Jiemma was around, and seems to question on how his guild deals with things such as failure.
• After Yukino got excommunicated from the guild due to her loss, he still considered her to be a comrade.
• He lacks the sadistic side compared to the other members, as he was the only one that didn't laugh when Minerva tortured Lucy.
• He is shown to be very protective over Frosch, showing that he hugged Frosch so it wouldn't have the same fate as Lector, and when Frosch thought it was going to get excommunicated because it is weak, he says as long it's with him, that will not happen.
• He doesn't end up falling a dark and evil path like his future self.
  • When he found out he was going to be evil, he refuses to believe it and has no desire by ruling over the world.
• He was apart of the help by trying to take down one of the Seven Dragons that got sent through the Eclipse Gate.
• He helps make Sabertooth a better guild for it's members.
• He and Sting come to the recuse when Minerva was about to get attacked by Mard Geer. The two later take her back to the guild, where she belongs.
• He helps Fairy Tail with their battle against the Alervaz Empire.
• Knowing that Sting is hungry due to Larcade's spell, he gives Sting his power so he can defeat Larcade.
• During the battle, he guides him into his own shadow so he can wear off the drowiness and increase his senses, which made him defeat Larcade.
• He took a part in defeating Acnologia in the time rift with the other Dragon Slayers. He gives Natsu his power so Acnologia can be defeated.
