Makeela Riju, better known as Riju is a supporting character in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and a major character in both The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and also Hyrule Warrios: Age of Calamity.
She is voiced by Elizabeth Maxwell in the English version, who also voiced Urbosa in the same series.
What Makes Her Love Exalted?[]
- She was a decent and benevolent ruler despite being forced to take the Gerudo throne after losing her mother.
- When she meets Link and becomes aware that Link is a voe (Gerudo word for man), she allowed him to remain in Gerudo Town as long as he was disguised due to being a Hylian Champion and a friend to Urbosa.
- She helps Link free Vah Naboris from Ganon’s control.
- She was saddened by Terrako’s destruction.
