Qui-Gon Jinn is the overarching protagonist of the Star Wars franchise.
He was a Jedi Master and the apprentice of Dooku, the mentor of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker until his death at the hands of Darth Maul.
He was portrayed by Liam Neeson.
What Makes Him Love Exalted?[]
- When Dooku was attack Senator Dagonet for opening fire on civilians, he freed the senators son to stop Dooku from killing the senator in anger, despite all the Senator had done to his own people.
- He has great compassion for all living beings and has no hatred towards anyone or anything.
- He saves Jar Jar Binks’s life twice despite his incompetence and foolishness.
- He alongside Obi-Wan and Jar Jar rescue Padmé and her allies.
- He was able to free Anakin from slavery and was sad when he could not free his mother.
- Rather than using the force to make the Gungans join him and his allies, he refused to force them and let them decide whether to form an alliance or not.
- After his death, he taught Yoda and Obi-Wan how to become a force ghost after death.
- Despite many thinking Anakin was beyond redemption, Qui-Gon believed otherwise. Qui-Gon was proven right when Anakin sacrificed himself to save his son Luke and kill Palpatine.
- This proves that Qui-Gon was always true friend to Anakin even in death.
