Primrose Everdeen is a supporting character from The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. She is Katniss Everdeen's younger sister.

She is portrayed by Willow Shields.

What Makes Her Love Exalted?[]

  • She is shown to love all living creatures, even the most unsightly ones, and can't stand to see one hurt.
  • She is very smart and supportive of her sister Katniss.
  • She Buttercup from being drowned by Katniss and is the only person to treat him kindly, earning the cat's love in return. She would eventually risk her life to go back and save Buttercup during an air raid.
  • After being chosen for the Hunger Games, she keeps her composure and tries to come forward and accept, and tries to stop Katniss from volunteering in her place, as she doesn't want Katniss to die for her.
  • She encourages Katniss to defy Snow and tells Katniss not to worry about protecting her, saying that since Katniss saved her life, she feels she has to do something to make the world better, and just living isn't enough.
  • She volunteers to be sent to the front lines of battle as a medic, despite being too young for it.
  • She rushes forward to give medical aid to as many of Capitol Children as she can following a bombing carried out by President Coin, showing no fear or hesitation and ultimately sacrificing her life in order to do this.
  • Overall, she respects all life and holds no ill will towards anyone, even President Snow, who she has good reason to hate.
