Pac-Man, also known as Pacster or just Pac, often stylized as PAC-MAN, is a fictional alien superhero and the titular main protagonist of Bandai Namco's video game franchise of the same name.
Pac-Man is the mascot of NAMCO and its successor company, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment. Residing in Pac-Land, he is the husband of Ms. PAC-MAN, and the father of Baby Pac-Man and Jr. Pac-Man. PAC-MAN typically favors a high appetite eating food and various kinds of Pac-Dots, as well as devoring Ghosts. Since his first appearance in the eponymous title in 1980, PAC-MAN has become a legendary video game icon and is one of the most recognizable fictional characters in the world.
Pac-Man was voiced by Duncan MacLaren in Pac-Man: Adventures in Time, Martin T. Sherman in Pac-Man World 3, and Debi Derryberry (who also voiced Jimmy Neutron and Runt) in Street Fighter X Tekken. He is also voiced by Marty Ingels in the Pac-Man television series by Hanna-Barbera, and Erin Matthews in Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures animated series, while Erica Mendez voices the character in the latter programs' video game adaptations.

- Pac-Man is praised by the community due to his simplistic and adorable design. His overall optimistic and enthusiastic personality also appeals to other people too.
- Pac-Man is typically willing to help people, and he relentlessly cares about his family. He even gone as far as protecting his family and friends from the ghosts, twice.
- Pac-Man defeated the ghosts in Pac-Attack by outsmarting them in a puzzle strategy and eating them to protect them from threatening other Pac-Worlders.
- Pac-Man defeated Toc-Man, his spectral doppelgänger who has been impersonating the true Pac-Man himself, building robots and machinery and attempted to defeat Pac-Man to usurp his role by kidnapping Pac-Man's family members in the first Pac-Man World game.
- Pac-Man demonstrates high valor, as he has saved his universe from tyrannical situations, even if it endangered his life. He defeated the ship, HMS Windbag, from committing murder towards Pac-Man via cannons, even if it endangered his life. He also prevented King Galaxian from weaponizing malefic, like tractor laser beams, to commit murder towards Pac-Man in an abyss of space.
- He defeated the temple, Anubis Rex, from murdering Pac-Man himself with sending fireballs flying at Pac-Man, launching black tornadoes out to follow Pac-Man, and shooting beams of energy at him. Due to all of these occurrences happening at the same time, the fight was tough for Pac-Man to defuse, but solved it nonetheless.
- He defeated an large crab-like spaceship, King Galaxian, a monarch who commands Galaxian ships to attack Pac-Man.
- He defeated multiple Clown Racers in Clown Prix (Caused by Toc-Man) from crashing into Pac-Man and attempting to make him lose the race with Pac-Man's life at stake.
- He defeated Krome Keeper, an artificially intelligent minion of Toc-Man and the robotic tyrant of the Pac-Dot Factory, from committing unprovoked attacks towards Pac-Man via boxes and weaponized usage of metal.
- He defeated Spooky, a ghostly ruler who tried harming the Pac-People and getting Pac-Man's tree, the Wormwood, and tried attempting genocide to do so out of vengeance in Pac-Man World 2.
- He defeated Erwin, an megalomaniacal humanoid who has a strong desire for destruction and tried using a Spectral Syphon of his own design to suck in energy to destroy Pac-Land.
- During the epilogue of Pac-Man's reveal trailer in Super Smash Bros. 4, Pac-Man immediately befriends Mr. Game & Watch as the two are chronologically the oldest fighters in the Super Smash Bros. series.
