Mai Shiranui is a major protagonist in the Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters series. She is the granddaughter of Hanzo Shiranui and Andy Bogard's love interest.
She was voiced by Akoya Sogi and later by Ami Koshimizu. In the Fatal Fury films, she was voiced by Kotono Mitsuishi.
What Makes Her Love Exalted?[]
- She is very cheerful, temperamental, idealistic, has a very playful personality as she's not afraid to joke with her friends and/or get really drunk.
- Although her preppy fighting persona suggests otherwise, she is actually a traditional and ideal Japanese beauty.
- She genuinely loves Andy and supports him, despite playfully teasing him.
- She stands up to Panni for blackmailing her.
- She helps Terry, Andy, and Joe to defeating Laocorn and protected Sulia.
- She supported Blue Mary, Kim, and Hokutomaru.
- She is incredibly loyal to her friends and loved ones, being a traditionalist who is also extremely good at her fighting style of graceful movements and a talented demon hunter.
