Kion (pronounced Kai-on) is the titular main protagonist of the 2015 Disney Junior TV film The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar and its 2016-2019 follow-up TV series The Lion Guard.
He is the son and youngest child of Simba and Nala, the younger brother of Kiara, the mate of Rani, the grandson of Mufasa, Sarabi, Sarafina, and an unnamed lion, the adoptive nephew of Bunga, the great-nephew of Scar, the brother-in-law of Kovu and Baliyo, the former leader of the Lion Guard, and the current King of the Tree of Life.
He was voiced by Max Charles, who also played young Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man films.
What Makes Him Love Exalted?[]
- Despite having somewhat of a sibling rivalry with his sister Kiara, he does still care for her.
- He was initially immature but was sensible enough to follow the rules.
- He helps the Pridelanders with their problems.
- He warned Fuli to be careful of her limits and when she ignored him, he still saved her.
- When he was distrustful of Jasiri because she was a hyena, he apologized for his mistrust.
- He helped Badili stand up to his bully Mapigano.
- He comforted Rani after her grandmother's passing.
