What Makes Him Love Exalted?

• He wishes to create a utopia, where everyone is treated equally and nobody will have to worry about disasters such as plagues. So he intended to become the creator to do so.
• However, when he realizes that his soulmate Miyazu (who he could merge with to obtain the throne) isn't feeling well, he decides to look after her instead.
• His followers are shown to love him and are saddened if the Nahobino decides to kill him.
• He intends to sacrifice himself so that Miyazu can live a happy life by becoming a goddess, though Miyazu doesn't want that. Fortunately, he eventually realizes his mistake and decides not to sacrifice himself.

Trivia

• He acts as a foil to the demon Lahmu. While Lahmu doesn't truly love his partner and will do anything to achieve his goal of becoming the next Creator, Khonsu does truly love his partner and decided not to claim the throne for her sake. It's possible for the Nahobino to spare Khonsu, but it's not possible for him to spare Lahmu.
