Kaedehara Kazuha is one of the major playable characters from the 2020 game Genshin Impact.
He is voiced by Mark Whitten (who also voiced Kyojuro Rengoku in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) in English and Nobunaga Shimazaki in Japanese.
What Makes Him Love Exalted?[]
- While he was vengeful against the Raiden Shogun for his friend's death as he challenged Kujou Sara to a duel before the throne, it wasn't for any selfish purposes as he believes that Visions manifest as peoples' ambitions, in which people can't live without it. Additionally, he does not have any animosity towards the Raiden Shogun for slaying his friend as his friend lost the duel in a fair fight.
- He was willing to become a fugitive in order to keep his friend's Vision.
- Even while traveling, he still deeply cares for his family, writing letters to them even as a wanderer.
- When he encounters Fei the Flyer trying to steal his friend's Vision, he refuses trying to kill him as it amounted to nothing, subverting it, and instead uses him in an attempt to activate said Vision to see if he can resonate with it, letting him go afterwards.
- Comes to rescue the Traveler when they and Gorou were ambushed by Shogunate forces. He even greets Gorou when they meet, being an old friend of his.
- When the Raiden Shogun attacks the Traveler for the second time, it is shown that he is worthy of using the power of his friend's Vision, intercepting the Shogun's blade as she was about the execute the Traveler.
- Since he wouldn't know the second vision would activate it suggests he would also be selfless enough to sacrifice himself to save the traveler
- Despite of the amount of fame he received for his amazing feat of grasping two different Elements at once whilst intercepting the Shogun, he genuinely dislikes receiving this kind of fame.
- Found the truth of the Raiden Gokaden and the Five Kasen, aiding Ayato in his plan to expose the truth about said incident.
- He told Kujou Sara to sell off his clan's property and donate the money earned to the poor.
- His kindness and reasoning towards the Prized Isshin Blade, who was already unstable due to its consciousness being formed from Tatarigami, allowed it to be reforged in Kazuha's hands.
- During the Summertime Odyssey event, he helped the Fatui researcher who made the mirage machine come back to his senses and stop it from harming the island even further.
