James P. Sullivan, (most commonly known as Sulley), is one of the two main protagonists of the Disney/Pixar Monsters, Inc. franchise (alongside Mike Wazowski). He serves as the main protagonist of Pixar's 4th full-length animated feature film, Monsters Inc., the deuteragonist of Pixar's 14th full-length animated feature film, Monsters University, and one of the two overarching protagonists of Monsters At Work.
He is voiced by John Goodman, who also voiced Pacha in The Emperor's New Groove.
What Makes Him Love Exalted?[]
- After his time at Monsters University, he has become a much nicer person.
- He took responsibility for rigging Mike's scare meter.
- While he scared children, he was only doing his job by providing his city with energy. He would become guilty when realizing the damage scaring causes children psychologically.
- He did everything in his power to get Boo home, notably being horrified when he thought she was killed by a trash compactor.
- He was horrified when he accidentally scared Boo.
- He tried to convince Waternoose not to harm Boo and was opposed to the idea of kidnapping children.
- He solved the energy crisis by replacing scares with laughs.
