Iago is a major character in the Aladdin franchise. He serves as the secondary antagonist of Aladdin, the main anti-heroic protagonist of The Return of Jafar, and a main character in Aladdin and the King of Thieves and the Aladdin animated series.
Iago was voiced by the late Gilbert Gottfried.
What Makes Him Love Exalted?[]
- He renounced his allegiance to Jafar and villainy.
- He became loyal to Aladdin after he saved his life.
- Despite being greedy at times, he is truly selfless deep down.
- He later sacrifices his greed to save others.
- He freed the Genie to save Aladdin.
- When some children and Abu fell off a hole.
- When the Sultan banished him from the palace, he tries to regain his faith by saving him when he was turned into a golden statue.
