Hyde Kido (城戸 灰都) , also known as Unknown Actor (不明なる共演者) by Licht Kreiss, is the main protagonist of the 2D anime fighting game series called Under Night In-Birth. He was introduced as a playable character in the base roster. He is a high school student who was attacked by a Void but was saved by Linne. Having awakened as an In-Birth as a result, he cooperates with Linne, preparing for when the Hollow Night comes again.
He is voiced by Ryōhei Kimura in Japanese and by Kyle McCarley in the English version in BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle.
What Makes Him Loved Exalted?[]
- He is usually very friendly towards most characters in the roster, even the ones that act hostile towards him like Carmine.
- While reckless, he is determined to fight Hilda and end her Amnesia organization instead of letting Linne take the burden and fight her.
- His motivation to Hilda and Kuon from their schemes is so he can live normal happy life, as well as protecting others.
- He is even kind enough to let people he hardly knew like Vatista stay at his place (although he kind of forced her).
