Dr. Heinz L. Doofenshmirtz is the main antagonist turned major protagonist of the Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb.

He is voiced by Dan Povenmire.

What Makes Him Love Exalted?

• Despite Perry being his archnemesis, he was polite to him whenever he captured him. He is even willing to team up with him against other villains worse than him before they ultimately became best friends.
• He cares deeply about his daughter Vanessa and treats her far better than his parents treated him.
• He redeems himself and becomes a hero, making only good inators from then on.
• He helps Vinnie Dakota find his partner and best friend, Balthazar Cavendish, after he uses the Alien Amnesia Device on him due to wanting to find extraterrestrial life, thus starting the Rogue Cavendish Arc where both Heinz Doofenshmirtz and Vinnie Dakota look for Balthazar Cavendish.
• Although he spent most of his screentime being a villain, his evil deeds hardly ever go beyond mischief and as Vanessa pointed out at the end of the series, he is only pretending to be evil and is a nice guy inside.
• Although he started off as a Hero by proxy, he loses this quality as he fully embraces his role as a hero and is portrayed far more positively after that.
