Happy is a deuteragonist in the anime/manga Fairy Tail. He is an Exceed who is Natsu Dragneel best friend. Despite being a little Exceed, he still helps his guild and can also have an ability to fly as an Exceed. He loves fish and has a crush on another Exceed named Carla.
He is voiced by Tia Ballard in English version
What Makes Him Love Exalted?[]
- He is a very comedic sidekick to Team Natsu who is always good on backup.
- When he was hatched from his egg, he brought the whole guild smiling (this is how he got his name).
- He is very loyal and is always willing to support his friend whenever danger is upon them. He is especially loyal to his best friend Natsu.
- He recuses Lucy from Bora in the very first episode in the series.
- Since he can fly, it can help with Natsu's motion sickness, and can help reach to the enemy faster.
- He helps with the battle against the Phantom Lord.
- Despite pick at Lucy from time to time, he is shown that he really cares about her, crying that her future self was going to die. His reason of crying is even though she's the Future Lucy, she is still Lucy and his friend.
- He helps destroy the lightning Lacrima Laxus made that was about to destroy the whole guild.
- Happy takes a big part in rescuing his friends in Edolas and preventing genocide from the Exceeds.
- After learning why he and Carla were born to kill the Dragon Slayer, Carla breaks down into tears. He later stands up for Carla despite not remembering his true mission to kill the Dragon Slayers. He explains that the Exceeds are not puppets and are mages from the Fairy Tail guild.
- He was apart of the help by stopping the Lacrima that was about to hit Extalia, with the rest of earth land and as well as Coco.
- Happy helps Natsu try to become an S-Class Wizard for this year S-Class Promotion Trail.
- He and Carla destroy Grimiore Hearts power source by pulling on the chains and hitting the machine.
- When Carla and Wendy went missing, he and Lisanna go searching for the both of them. After witnessing they were on the ground, they both take them to the Domus Flau's emergency room.
- He cheers on his friends during the Grand Magic Games.
- He and Carla come to recuse Gray from Doriate's Law of Retrogression.
- He goes with Natsu, Wendy, Lucy, and Carla to warn one of the former Magic Council members (Michelia) on how Tartaros is going after him.
- He stop Jackal from his plans of destroying the whole town, including himself with an explosion by grabbing him and flying him into the sky very high.
- Happy, Carla, and Pantherlily take a part in saving the whole guild from the explosion, by Cana giving them the cards of the members and flying them towards Cube.
- As Erza was being tortured by Kyôka, he begs her to stop torturing her.
- He takes an important part of bringing Fairy Tail back together after a whole year of being disbanded, by helping look for the other members such as Wendy and Carla.
- He helps save a whole town from the Zeref cultist, Avatar. They planned to kill many innocent lives so they can be noticed by Zeref.
- He helps find and recuse Makarov from the powerful Spriggan 12.
- After learning that Natsu is E.N.D. and that he will die if he kills Zeref, his opinion on him doesn't change and doesn't let him die, saying that he is his best friend in a tearful way.
- He was very worried when Natsu was unconscious.
- He helps Lucy warm up Natsu's body temperature by placing his body on top of him so he doesn't freeze to death.
- He supports Lucy as she rewrites the book of E.N.D.
- He takes a part in defeating Acnologia by giving his power with Lucy's plan to seal Acnologia on the ice boat they created, and saved the world.
