Emiri Uchi is a recurring supporting character of the manga No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular!. She has been Tomoko's classmate since at least the second year, where she became obsessed with her during the school trip, but changed to another class in the third year.
What Makes Her Lovable[]
- While she starts creeped out by Tomoko's behaviour, she quickly and without realizing starts embracing her quirks, being one of the first characters to like Tomoko just like she is.
- While at first seems like an another swallow girl from the popular crowd (mostly from Tomoko's perspective), is made very clear lately that their friendship with her friends is genuine and that she is not really a bad person as much as was more absent-minded in her first enounters with Kuroki.
- One of the first signs she's not really as swallow as she looked is in one of her earliest appearences she gifts some very expensive candies to most of her class including Yoshida and Yuri who she wanted to avert during the Field Trip and Tomoko, who at this point she was still creeped out at.
- Despise refusing to admit her feelings towards Tomoko and tends to call her "gross" , she would be the first to defend her in case someone is insulting her, particulary she shouts Minami out of her class and tell her to never come back again in the very moment she tries to speak il of her and seems to criticize Nemoto's imitation of her of feeling it was not acurate enough
- Despise her dislike of Minami, she does help her find and patch her relationship with Sachi after noticing her alone and hearing of her fight and says she doesn't have harsh feeling towards her
- Her attempts to get closer with Tomoko are quite endearing even if a bit clumsy. Is very clear she isn't into Tomoko's interests so she can only attempt to get to make small talk with much popular otaku properties like One Piece.
- After accidentaly offending her, she becomes more open to praise her even if she avert confessing to her.
- While less that with Tomoko, she also seems to warm up to Yuri and Yoshida despise finding them weird back in the Field Trip and not wanting to be with them, even being the first to notice Yuri's annoyance of Mako leaving with Minami while they are in the amusement park.
- She has a adorable fascination for the characters in the amusement park and even sings a song with them
- In chapter 200, she realizes of Tomoko's inocence and even plays with the idea of going with her to a love hotel before shuting her off at realizing how easily trickable she truly is.
- Despise becoming more daring and mentally perverted, is very clearly still incredibly innocent even getting embaresed of Tomoko simply looking her at the eyes.
- She's beyond happy when Tomoko give her a keychain which makes it more sad when she realizes she gave 3 of those to Asuka.
