Edith Gru is one of the deuteragonists of the Despicable Me franchise.

She is voiced by Dana Gaier.

What Makes Her Love Exalted?[]

She helps deliver cookies to neighbors during her time as an orphan of Miss Hattie's.
She makes Mrs. Hattie a mud pie in hopes of getting herself and her sisters adopted.
Along with her sisters, she suggested that Gru take them to the Super Silly Fun Land out of longing to be somewhere fun, this would play a crucial role in his eventual redemption.
After being saved from Vector by Gru, she dances again for Gru and encourages him to dance along with her, Margo and Agnes.
She joins her sisters and Dr. Nefario in turning all the Evil Minions back to normal and stopping El Macho.
She helps Agnes find a unicorn after she sold her toy one.
She gives the Minion Scouts their badges after they failed to get them.
She goes out of her way to defend Agnes from a strict sensei who is being harsh on Agnes.
She and her sisters help fight against Principal Übelschlecht when she was attacking Gru and Lucy.
In general, she is tomboyish and seems to be braver than her two sisters, whom she at least cares about. Her relationship with Gru is also great and relatable.
