Edward Horace "Ed" Christensen, also known as Ed, is the older brother of Sarah, a member of The Eds (which also consists of his best friends Double D and Eddy) and one of the three protagonists of Ed, Edd n Eddy, as well as the main protagonist (as a viking by the name of "Lothar") in Ed, Edd N Eddy's Boo Haw Haw. He is the strong, dimwitted, kind-hearted best friend of Eddy and Edd and is the dimwitted brawn of the trio.
He was voiced by Matt Hill.
What Makes Him Love Exalted?[]
- Despite his apparent clumsiness and simple-mindedness, Ed always puts the well-being and happiness of his friends above anything else.
- He may not be the brightest or the most skilled, but his love and dedication towards Eddy and Double D are unmatched.
- No matter the situation or the mischief they find themselves in, Ed's love shines through, as he is always ready to lend a helping hand and support his friends.
- His childlike innocence and genuine affection for others make him a beacon of love in the neighborhood.
- He saved Edd from drowning in Rolf's Chicken Horde, something Eddy refused to do.
- He was willing to sacrifice himself in the big picture show when the kids were out to seriously harm him, Edd and Eddy.
- He tirelessly ran for miles to get away from the Kids in the cul de sac.
- When he realized Sarah could've been in danger he immediately ran to save her in "The Ed's Are Coming".
- Once they got to Eddy's brother's Trailer, after seeing the kind of person Eddy's older brother is, Ed immediately thought quickly to save Eddy, his method of which involved removing a door hinge to allow the door to cave into the damage Eddy's brother was causing, which sent the door flying into Eddy's brother's face, knocking him into a possible coma, however this doesn't make Ed seem lethal as this was a righteous act to rescue Eddy.
- Along with Edd, he easily forgave Eddy after realizing everything he said was a lie.
- All around, Ed is a very good person and an incredible friend who would always stay with his friends, what makes him even better is that he'll never hold back and step in to save them even if it would cost him his life.
- While it isn’t shown onscreen, it’s implied he forgave Jonny for beating him, Double D and Eddy up after the movie.
