Echo (CT-1409) is a supporting character in the 2008-2020 animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and one of the three tritagonists (alongside Wrecker and Tech) of its 2021-2024 spin-off/sequel Disney+ streaming series Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

He is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who also voices Captain Rex in the same series.

What Makes Him Love Exalted?

• Although he initially disliked his squad, he later got along with them.
• He gave a speech of encouragement to the cadets to help defend Tipoca City from Separatist forces.
• After he was turned into a cyborg by Wat Tambor, he did not lose his sense of humanity.
• When Order 66 was executed, he along with the rest of Clone Force 99 (except for Crosshair), refused to follow the order and defected from the new Galactic Empire that replaced the Galactic Republic.
• Although he despises the Separatists for all they have done, he rescued Separatist senator Avi Singh and his droid GS-8 and realizing that not all Separatists are bad. This is understandable due to Wat Tambor being part of the Separatists and being responsible for ruining his life.
• Alongside the rest of Clone Force 99, he gave Cham Syndulla and his family supplies and rescues them.
• He and Clone Force 99 save Gungi, a Wookiee who also happens to be a Jedi youngling, and protect his homeworld Kashyyyk.
