Dorothy Gale is the main protagonist of the broad Oz novels and its many adaptions.
In the 1939 adaption, she was played by the late Judy Garland.
What Makes Her Love Exalted?[]
- She cares deeply about her dog Toto.
- She was initially horrified when her house crushed the Wicked Witch of the East and apologized for it, only to learn she had freed the munchkins and inhabitants from tyranny.
- She took pity on the Cowardly Lion, even after he tried to attack her, the Scarecrow, and the Tin Man.
- She stopped Toto from attacking a cat at the cost of missing a chance to go back to Kansas.
