Elizabeth "Darling" Brown is one of the supporting characters in the Lady and the Tramp franchise. As the wife of Jim, she is Lady and Tramp's owner and is the mother of Jim. Jr.
In the original animated film, she was voiced by the late Peggy Lee. In the sequel, she was voiced by Barbara Goodson. In the 2019 live-action remake of the same name, she was portrayed by Kiersey Clemons.
What Makes Her Love Exalted?[]
- She is a caring and considerate wife to Jim and does whatever she can to help make him reconsider.
- She is a loving dog owner of Lady as shown, when she requested Jim to let Lady sleep with them and gave her a new collar for her to show it to Trusty and Jock.
- Even though she did slap Lady, it was only due to her being pregnant and didn't want something bad happening to her.
- When Jim. Jr won't stop crying, she sang a lullaby to her son in order for him to calm down.
- She also introduced Lady to Jim Jr.
- She actually didn't want to go on vacation and leave Jim. Jr behind, though she did kindly inform Lady that she and Jim will return in which they did as promised.
- When she and Jim return home, they let Lady out of the room and allow her to prove Tramp's innocence to them
- She and Jim rewarded Tramp for saving their son and home by adopting him as a pet dog, as well as adopting four puppies.
- In Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure, she took care of Jim. Jr while her husband, Lady and Tramp go search for Scamp.
- Upon seeing Angel, Darling persuaded Jim to adopt Angel in order to make their dogs and Jim Jr. happy.
