What Makes Her Love Exalted?[]
- Working under the bad conditions in Yubaba's bathhouse and withstanding it all for the sake of being able to free her parents from their curse.
- Cleaning the River Spirit by leading the others in the bathhouse in pulling out the garbage inside it, causing the creature to give Chihiro a magic emetic dumpling out of gratitude.
- Befriending the grumpy and cynical Lin and Kamaji with her kindness.
- Climbing to the top of the bathhouse to save Haku when she saw him in danger, even refusing a massive amount of gold offered to her by No-Face on the way.
- With medicine she got from the River Spirit, she caused No-Face to vomit up Zeniba's seal, as well as the employees he ate and the black slug that was allowing Yubaba to control him. This purified him and allowed her to befriend the spirit. She also lead him away from the bathhouse and instead allowed him to come with her to find Zeniba and return the gold seal to her, which resulted in him staying with Zeniba and finally finding a place where he can live happily.
- Travelling to return the gold seal to Zeniba after it was stolen from her by Haku while he was controlled by Yubaba and to apologize to her on his behalf, even though she herself didn't know how exactly should would get back after she did so.
- Causing Haku to remember his real name by telling him of a memory she experienced when she was younger at the Kohaku River, thus freeing him from Yubaba's control.
- Redeeming Boh by protecting him after he was turned into a mouse by Zeniba, as shown when he later showed much more maturity when defending her when the two arrived back at the bathhouse.
