Captain Phoebus, or simply known as Phoebus, is the tritagonist of Disney's 34th full length animated feature film The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
He was voiced by Kevin Kline, who also voiced Tulio in The Road to El Dorado.
What Makes Him Love Exalted?[]
- While he did serve Frollo, he didn't realize at first how evil he was.
- When he was ordered by Frollo to burn the Miller family, he refused.
- When Frollo burns the family himself, Phoebus goes out of his way to save them, at the cost of his execution being ordered.
- He rallies his soldiers to join forces with the citizens and fight back against Frollo's tyranny.
- He saves Quasimodo's life.
