“ | Those are trees. Real ones. They used to grow all around here. And people said that the touch of their tufts was softer than anything, even silk. And they smelled like butterfly milk. | „ |
~ Audrey telling Ted about the trees. |
“ | Trees, they produce fresh air. | „ |

Audrey is the tritagonist of Illumination's 3rd full-length animated feature film The Lorax, an adaptation of the Dr. Seuss book of the same name. She is the 14-year-old next-door neighbor and love interest of Ted Wiggins.
She was voiced by singer Taylor Swift, who ironically has no singing parts during the movie itself.
What Makes Her Love Exalted?[]
- She dreams of having legitimate trees be planted within Thneedville, though this conflicts with Aloysius O'Hare's artificial oxygen business.
- She reminds everyone that trees provide oxygen and reminds them of photosynthesis when Aloysius O’Hare tries to convince the town that trees are bad.
- She becomes very impressed with Ted's determination to fix things in Thneedville and bring back the trees.
- In the end, Ted wins her heart, with her giving him a kiss on the cheek.
